PPR pipe specifications

PPR pipe specifications are expressed by tube series S, nominal outer diameter DN × nominal wall thickness EN  

Example: PPR tube series S5, PPR nominal outer diameter DN25mm, PPR nominal wall thickness EN2.5mm  

S5, DN25 x EN 2.5mm  

PPR pipe series S: a dimensionless numerical series used to represent the specifications of PPR pipe, S= (DN-EN) / 2 EN  

Where: DN -- PPR nominal diameter (external diameter), unit: mm  

En -- PPR nominal wall thickness, in mm  

Commonly used PP-R tube specifications are 5, 4, 3.2, 2.5, 2 five series  

PPR pipe specifications ACCORDING to standard size rate SDR value, PPR pipe is divided into 11, 9, 7.4, 6, 5 five series.  

PPR standard size rate SDR: it is the ratio of nominal outer diameter DN and nominal wall thickness EN of PPR pipe.  

The relationship between SDR and PPR tube series is as follows: SDR=2S+1  

PPR pipe fitting specifications are expressed as follows:  

Nominal outside diameter (DN) of PPR pipe fittings refers to the nominal outside diameter of PPR pipe connected to PPR pipe fittings.  The wall thickness of PPR pipe fittings shall not be less than that of PPR pipe of the same PPR pipe series S.  

Most PPR fittings of enterprises only have a series of S2, the highest standard, which is suitable for both hot and cold water
