The HDPE electrofusion fittings coiled with brass wires at the ends. When execute the welding, the electric current, which is provided by HDPE electrofusion machine, goes thread the brass wires to heat the brass wires that coiled inside the ends of fittings. When the temperature reaches high, it will fusion the inside ends of HDPE electrofusion fittings & outer ends of HDPE pipe.

To achieve a perfect welding results, the HDPE pipe shall remove the oxidation layer at the welding ends. At the same time, the gap between outer diameter of HDPE pipe & inner diameter of HDPE electrofusion fittings shall be as smaller as possible.

To make a easy welding, all HDPE electrofusion fittings have a bar code on it showing the welding voltage/welding time/cooling time.,etc. The welding data is also embossed on the fittings, the install worker can easily set the welding data on their welding machine to complete the welding work.
