PEX, also called crosslinked polyethylene. It is a improve of polyethylene material to make it be high temperature resistance.

PEX can be manufactured & divided into 3 types: PEX-a, PEX-b, PEX-c, which is defined according to the degree of crosslinking.

SUNPLAST PEX pipe is normally made by PEX-b material, whose degree of crosslinking is about 65%~75%.

The PEX pipe has been widely used for hot water plumbing & heating systems, and it has been a ideal replacement of PVC pipes or copper pipes, because PEX pipe reputes many advantages:

※ Flexible: PEX pipe can be in 50/100/200m coils, less fittings be needed. This greatly reduce the installation costs & save installation time. At the same time, due to less joint, the pipe systems are more stable.

※ High temperature resistance: PEX pipe can perform perfectly both at low temperature & high temperature. The PEX pipe can be serviced at -40℃~95℃, and this makes PEX pipe is capable for various applications.

※ Chemical resistance: PEX pipe is free to any Chemical substances, acid, alkali, salt. PEX pipe can be used for delivery of strong acids or sea water...

※ Excellent thermal conductivity: Due to good thermal conductivity, PEX pipe is normally used as underfloor heating pipe

SUNPLAST PEX pipe are made into ISO 15875 standard, with available sizes 16/20/25/32mm. At the same time, we can also provide PEX pipe in inch from 1/4” to 1” that conform to ASTM F876/877 standard.
