What is dredge pipe?

Drain pipe is a pipe for suction dredger or suction dredger to drain and transport mud.  It is generally made of cast steel or steel plate, each section is 4 ~ 7m long, and the wall thickness is related to the pipe diameter and the pressure, usually 5 ~ 10mm.  The dredger tail from the mud pipe, floating on the water supported by a buoy, each group consists of two round, oval, rectangular or boat-shaped buoy composition, each section of the mud pipe with rubber sleeve connection, clamped with iron clips.  Shore mud pipe with flange bolt connection, and elbow, short pipe, branch pipe matching, can be sent to the mud throwing area.  On the shore, the mud drainage pipe set in the nearshore water area is erected on the mud drainage pipe frame.  The joint of floating pipe and shore pipe should meet the requirements of extension, contraction and swing, and is usually composed of spherical or rubber joint, telescopic pipe and short pipe.
